Each new student can book 1 free trial lesson. A trial lasts 25 minutes. During this time we discuss your learning needs; I demonstrate the materials and we will discuss a plan of action.
How do I schedule a Free Trial Lesson?
On my website you’ll find the button: Book your Trial Lesson. This will take you to my booking page. You can schedule your free trial lesson here.
What do I need to do after I schedule a trial lesson?
You will receive a confirmation email with an access link to Zoom. Click on this link a few minutes before the class starts. Make sure you have Zoom downloaded on your computer, tablet or phone.
Can I cancel/reschedule my trial?
It’s possible to cancel or reschedule your trial lesson up to 12 hours before the class starts. Within this time it’s no longer possible to cancel or reschedule. You can book a new trial lesson for € 10, -.
Are your lessons suitable for children?
My lessons are suitable for teenagers (+12 years old) and adults.
How long is a lesson?
Each full lesson is 50 minutes.
Do you offer 25-minute or group lessons?
Yes, I offer 25-minute lessons. These types of lessons are suitable for more advanced students who want to focus only on their speaking and do not have much time to practice. I would not recommend these lesson times for beginners!
At this moment I do not offer group lessons.
What video calling software is used for the lessons?
Zoom is my default software, but it is also possible to use Skype if you prefer it to Zoom. You can download Zoom here and Skype here.
Do I have to buy any lesson materials?
No, I will share my materials with you for free.
It’s possible to purchase a 6 month or a one-year license for the online method LINK. This method is for level A0-A2.
Are you more advanced? No problem. There is also a 6 month and one-year licence for LINK+ available. This method is for level A2-B1.

How do I Buy a Lesson (Package)?
You can purchase your lesson(s) directly on the homepage of my website. When you click on the button: Buy your Package under ‘Lesson Packages‘, you will be redirected to my payment page. After you complete payment, you will receive an email containing your package code and a link to my scheduling site.

When you click on Dutch and You, you will see the different packages I offer. After you purchase the package of your choice, you will get access to my calendar to schedule your appointment(s).
How do I Schedule my Lesson(s)?
You can schedule your lesson(s) on my Homepage or on the Lessons page. Click on the link: Schedule Appointment, and it will redirect you to my personal calendar run by Squarespace Scheduling. If you already purchased lessons, you have to use your package code when booking your appointments.

How do I enter the classroom for my lesson?
To enter the classroom, you will find a unique link to Zoom in your appointment details. You can find the link in your scheduled appointment.
Can I reserve a specific time/day?
You can plan your appointments 6 months in advance. Depending on the size of your lesson package, you can plan all your appointments at once.
Where can I find my Appointments?
If you’ve used the ‘add to calendar’ option after booking, you can find your lessons in your Google/Outlook/iCal calendar, or you can see/manage your appointments in the Client Scheduling App. You’ll find the QR code under ‘How do I schedule my lessons?‘
Can I Cancel/Reschedule a lesson?
Yes, you can cancel/reschedule your class free of charge up to 12 hours before the class starts. It is not possible to cancel/reschedule within 12 hours before the start of a class.
How do I Cancel/Reschedule a lesson?
You have a few options:
Go to the Confirmation email you received after booking your lesson(s). Click on the View, Reschedule or Cancel button in the email. This will take you to the Rescheduling/Cancellation page.
If you use the ‘add to calendar’ option after booking, you can go to the lesson in your Google/Outlook/iCal calendar. Click on it and open the link in your browser to access the Rescheduling/Cancellation page.
Option 3: Reschedule/cancel your appointments in the Client Scheduling App.
Why can’t I cancel/reschedule within 12 hours?
Of course I understand everyone’s personal situation, but I would not be able to find a new student within this time. If you do have to cancel, you will lose your lesson credit for this class.

Which payment methods do you accept?
I accept the following debit/credit cards:
Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Diners Club, JCB and Union Pay. I also offer iDEAL payments on request. You will receive a separate payment link for this.
My payment system is completely secure and run through Stripe.
If you don’t have a credit card, I can also send you a customized payment link for other payment methods like iDEAL, Alipay, WePay and more.
Can I pay in my own currency?
At this moment, it is only possible to pay in euros. Your bank might charge a small fee or apply a slightly different exchange rate for international payments.
Is there a time limit on Lesson Packages?
You will get 12 months to use your lesson credits.
What is your Refund Policy?
You can get your remaining balance refunded if you contact me within 30 days of purchase. Please note that payment processing fees are not refunded by my payment provider, Stripe, due to the costs incurred.
This fee is 1,4% + € 0,25 for cards from the European Economic Space (+1,1% for British cards), and 2,9% + € 0,25 for international cards.
Refunds more than 30 days after purchase will not be given. It is possible to temporarily pause your classes. Your lessons are valid for 365 days.
